Hi All,
Happy Halloweeen!
Space Heater Reminder
With the temperatures dropping, we wanted to remind you that space heaters are a serious fire hazard, and their use is NOT ALLOWED per insurance guidelines. Please use only oil-filled radiant radiator type heaters like the ones pictured below. These avoid hot spots and keep from drying out your air while it heats. Be sure your heater has a knock over sensor so that it turns itself off in the event of being knocked over on accident. Shop oil-filled radiator heaters at Walmart, Home Depot, or other stores.
Fall-Back Battery Check
The clocks fall back an hour on Sunday, November 5th. Use that time change as a semi-annual reminder to check your detectors. Please run tests on your smoke and/or CO detector(s) in your unit to be sure that it’s in good operating condition. If your detector is emitting an occasional beep, that can be an indicator that your battery is low. Replace it with a like batter. Never remove your detector or it’s battery without replacing it. More about fall back.
These steps are to ensure the safety of you, your family, and all residents.
Please contact our office with any questions or concerns.
Stay warm and stay safe!
