  • You owe back rent

What Do You Need To Qualify For Second Chance Apartments?

You will still have to go through credit and background checks. For the requirements, you’re encouraged to include proof of income, proof of employment, and proof of rental history.

You will be required to pay a higher security deposit or a payment plan that will be specify before signing the lease.

How Can You Qualify For A Second Chance Apartment?

One of the most important things for you to be able to qualify for a second chance apartment is to be honest in your application. For instance, if you weren’t able to pay rent consecutively, explain why. Those details could help us determine your tenancy history.

Here are some second chance issues we CANNOT help you with:

  • Any sexually related crime regardless of how old

  • More than one rental debt

  • Open Bankruptcy

  • Applicants that do NOT meet income requirement
